Zteps are experiencing technical difficulties. I should’ve done more research before buying since I did not need a 12 step plan for my “cooked food addiction”, as I am already a very healthy eater and wasn’t struggling stepx that part of the transition.

Not only has it given me some interesting and new perspectives about the raw food lifestyle, it has made me want to give the raw food diet a try! Blindly entrusting a healthcare provider who will only gain from chronic illnesses is just asking for trouble. I did try one of her recipes, and I must say for being all raw, uncooked veges, it wasn’t too bad, and ot kids even ate it.
Victoria Boutenko is so thorough in her research and her approach. I can’t help but root for kooky Aunt Vicky because I feel like she’s coming from a positive place and sharing what has helped her deal with her own food addiction issues and her family’s health problems. I don’t think I could ever completely give up cooked food for more than a few weeks and the recipes in the back all included using a blender or dehydrator so I don’t see how you can still get the nutrients you need from a bunch of blended up watered down goulash. I chose this book because I thought the subtitle was somewhat ridiculous, which mean I wanted to say ‘hrrrph’ and dismiss it as crackpot victlria.
This nonfiction book by Victoria Boutenko contains some interesting observations but may be superseded somewhat by more recent studies. Embracing the raw food lifestyle is more stes simply turning off the stove.

I don’t necessarily agree with all of the author’s arguments for why eteps food diet is the way to go, but this book is interesting nonetheless as she writes more about the lifestyle changes that accompany any major change in one’s life.
