Bentley was definitely a loser, no question about it.

I really liked the characters of Patrick and Madelyn. Until he sees a woman who touches his heart and stirs his soul This was an enjoyable read although I really don’t think it lived up to its potential.

Por desgracia esa fue la mayor falta del libro: Patrick MacLeod married young. Pese a todo lo anterior, la historia me ha mantenido expectante y me ha gustado. Refresh and try again. Dec 02, Sara rated it it was ok. This is one of my favorite from Kurland. Not only was Madelyn dumped a few weeks before the wedding, but her ex gets her fired from her posh job and is engaged to someone new almost right away. The characters felt real, there is a interesting story line that actually gets attention instead of constantly being focused on the romantic escapades of the main charactersand the romance is clean instead of raunchy aa excessively descriptive.

From a liberated woman who is a self-described “ruthless” lawyer? It would have made a lot more sense if she had dumped him and he followed kn there to try and win her back, IMO After awhile his character is kind of dropped from the story and a new villain is introduced.

She ends up being rescued by a very handsome and mysterious Scot, who happens to be from the very distant past. Penguin- Fiction – pages. I couldn’t loose myself in to actually being her. Madelyn Phillips was pretty much a walking disaster. When she arrives she finds non-other than her loser ex. The time-travel aspect was well done, and I can’t wait to read more in the series – just wish my library had more of them!

A leakier wench I have yet to encounter in a book. That was a part where I couldn’t loose myself as ij there’
